LONG LIFE: ‘Ouma’ Priscilla Muvarure has lived in or near Kalkfeld settlement for close to 88 years, since her birth on a farm nearby the settlement. She worked as a domestic worker on farms, and since her retirement has lived as a pensioner with one of her two children in the settlement. She is a recipient of one of the first flush toilets there, and takes care of two cats. PHOTO: JANA-MARI SMITH
