RAINY DAY

UNDER WATER: Unusual downpours lashed the coast yesterday, with reports of flooded roads and residents battling to keep rainwater out of their homes in Swakopmund, Walvis Bay, and Henties Bay. Continuous rains led to the flooding of large sections of Henties Bay's main road. A water truck was dispatched to pump out the excess water, which threatened to flow into nearby shops.
