JUST IN: Homesteads evacuated

The Ohangwena Regional Council, in partnership with the Office of the Prime Minister, yesterday assisted about 16-20 homesteads evacuated at Onaminda village in Oshikango Constituency. Namibian Sun reporters Enzo Amuele and Tuyeimo Haidula filmed the destruction caused by the flood water to the fields of subsistence farmers. Two tents were put up. More people will be relocated this morning. So far mattresses, blankets and food have been provided. Children and women were the majority of those evacuated. VIDEO: ENZO AMUELE
