Airlink resumes cargo operations at airport
NEWS IN SHORT
Airlink has announced in a media release that it has resumed cargo operations at the Hosea Kutako International Airport (HKIA) since yesterday.
This follows discussions with Paragon Aviation Services, which took over the ground handling services at the airport from Menzies Aviation Namibia about two weeks ago.
According to Airlink, its staff will assist Paragon's staff for a period of time until they are familiar with Airlink's cargo handling processes.
"Airlink apologises to customers affected by the temporary suspension of cargo services at the airport and will expedite the clearing of its cargo backlog," the statement said.
