TOURING NAMIBIA: The Namibia Tourism Board (NTB), in collaboration with local influencer Michael Namaseb (third from left), recently organized a familiarisation tour from Windhoek to Namibia's coastal region. The initiative aimed to promote budget-friendly domestic tourism by providing local influencers with firsthand experiences of Namibia's diverse attractions. During the tour, the team explored and showcased various tourism offerings, including township tours, Sandwich Harbour, dunes, stunning rugged scenery, surfing, cultural experiences, landscapes, local cuisines, accommodations, and other activities. Highlights of the trip included visits to Swakopmund, Walvis Bay, and the surrounding areas. By sharing their positive experiences on social media, the influencers hope to inspire Namibians to discover and enjoy the country's rich tourism offerings. PHOTO: NTB
