JUST IN: NWR addresses fuel situation in Etosha

ELLANIE SMIT
Namibia Wildlife Resort (NWR) announced this morning that it is aware of the fuel issue in Etosha National Park and steps are being taken to resolve the matter.

Visitors to the park have complained about a lack of fuel, which makes it impossible to drive through the park.

NWR spokesperson Nelson Ashipala explained that Enercon, their third-party supplier, are on their way to Okaukuejo to provide an emergency supply, and the situation should return to normal this morning.

The fuel pumps are also being attended to and should be running by today at their service stations in Halali and Terrace Bay, NWR confirmed.

NWR apologised for the inconvenience caused.
