The Bank Windhoek National Fistball Cup tournament will take place tomorrow (Saturday, 4 November) at the Cohen Fist Club (CFC) in Windhoek where two finals in the A and B division will be decided last.
The games kick off at 08:30 in Olympia where CFC 1 will try to win its ninth title in 10 years in the A division. The under-11 and under-14 teams as well as two girls teams in the junior division will fight for their respective titles.
Matches will be played over two halves, except for the semi-finals and finals which will be decided from the best out of five sets.
CFC 1, CFC 2, SKW 1, SKW 2 and the Swakopmund Fist Ball Club (SFC) compete in the A division. The first placed team after the round robin will play against the fourth placed team in the first semi-final. The second and third placed teams will battle it out in the second semi-final.
SKW 3 are the defending champions in the B division where nine teams entered. CFC 3, six from SKW and two from SFC will face each other in the round robin round.
Once the finals are concluded, players who performed during the day and 2023 season will be honoured. The player of the day, junior player of the year as well as most valuable player in the B division will receive trophies.
An extended training group selected for the 2024 Junior Fistball World Cup in Chile as well as the coaches will be announced.
