JUST IN: Commonwealth beach rowing launched

The official launch of the Commonwealth Beach Rowing Championship is currently taking place at Independence Beach in Walvis Bay. The mayor of Walvis Bay, Trevino Forbes, says the championship is an excellent opportunity for local sportsmen and women. According to him, it will also broaden and promote the concept of rowing among school children and the youth.
