Novak Djokovic, the leading tennis player in the world, is a six-time Roman Masters champion, but he traded his racket for golf clubs on Wednesday to appear in the All Star event in the run-up to the 44th Ryder Cup tournament.
Djokovic, who won a record 24th Grand Slam title in the US Open last month, was in Colin Montgomerie's team together with Kipp Popert of England, the world's leading disabled golfer. Welsh football star Gareth Bale was the fourth team member.
Djokovic and Popert faced Spanish Formula One racing driver Carlos Sainz and Italian G4D golfer Tommaso Perrino.
Djokovic won 3-1, and he played his "hit of the day" on the par-4 16th, where he managed to hit the green with his driver - a feat that was applauded.
