AC doing it for baby Metha

AC Boxing Promotion announced yesterday that their next boxing competition is taking place at the NamPower Convention Centre in Windhoek on 10 June. The event is however not an ordinary boxing competition, even if those in the ring are set to exchange fierce blows.
The competition includes a fundraiser for six-month-old Metha, a baby with a severe medical condition. Her family requires close to N$500 000 to ensure she gets proper treatment.
Good cause
AC Boxing gym founder and promoter Immanuel ‘Imms’ Moses said he is pleased to be hosting the event with the aim of assisting the baby.
“The boxing fundraising event is aimed at raising funds for baby Metha’s medical expenses as an act towards a good cause.
“Baby Metha is a six-month-old baby who has one of the most severe conditions, and unfortunately, the medication needed for her treatment is expensive as she suffered a brain injury,” Moses said.
For these reasons, Moses has invited fans to the boxing and dining event in June.
The event will see eight fights take place, with Flaim Special One Nangolo headlining the boxing card against Tinashe Mwadziwana of Zimbabwe in a super featherweight fight over 10 rounds.
“In an event where you would like to individually enquire about baby Metha’s health condition for the purpose of supporting her, kindly contact her mother, Ferdonita Tjombe, at +264 81 282 0322 or at AC Boxing Academy,” Moses said.
