Life Fighters will resume training, eager to begin the new year firing on all cylinders.
Terry Ujamba, the commercial director of Life Fighters Football Club, says the club will be ready this year falling a appalling first round of the season.
The Otjiwarongo club concluded the first round of the Debmarine Namibia Premier League second from the bottom on the log. After 15 matches each, Orlando Pirates (8 points), Life Fighters (10) and Civics (12) are the three clubs currently in the relegation zone.
“We want to wish all supporters of Life Fighters compliments for the new season.
“We definitely hope this season is going to bring us the desired results that we need.
“We know it’s been a very daunting first leg,” Ujamba said, after the team only won twice and drew on five occasions.
Ujamba added that they plan to announce in due course the necessary steps for improved performance.
“We want to encourage you to continue supporting the purple project as we are embarking early.
“The guys will be back in action during the second week of January.
“They will be resuming their training so that we can take this necessary step to improve on the second leg.
“So, with this little one, happy season to you and your family. Thank you very much,” Ujamba concluded.
