Three WGC pairs advance to final

The Windhoek Golf & Country Club proudly hosted a fiercely contested third King Price International Pairs Qualifier for 2024 last weekend.
The teams in the first three positions have qualified for the regional finals to be played later in the year.
Thirty-five teams participated, five short of the possibility that four teams could qualify for the regional final which will be played in August 2024.
WGC has extended a very warm thanks to King Price for their support and making this series event possible. ABInBev sponsored the prizes.
The abbreviated results were:
1st (on count-out) Joggie van Schalkwyk and Phillipus Steenberg, 45 points).
2 Wynand Slabbert and Izak van Tonder (45).
3 Fergusson Paulse and Raymond van Zyl (44).
4 Mannetjies Burger and Borris Erasmus (43, count-out).
5 Charl Brits and Etienne Brits (43).
6 Chantel Visser and Celonika Robinson (43).
7 Louw Lotter and Christo van der Merwe (43).
8 Jean-Mark Mouton and Ronald Beukes (43).
9 Andreas Shoombe and Inklous Suze (43).
10 Lovisa Vilho and Laban Malule (42).
11 Justus Amutenya and Danie van Schoor (42).
Nearest-to-pin prizes were also on offer and were won by Gisela Verbucheln (hole 3), Fergusson Paulse (hole 9), Chantel Visser (hole 13) and Husselmann (hole 17).
• This coming weekend, Windhoek Golf Club will jointly play a competition at Omeya.
