Results ‘followed the script’

National League coordinator Albert Khevare expressed satisfaction with how round 6 unfolded.

“The weekend went fantastic! We kicked things off with a street match at 07:00 on Saturday, followed by the official games from 09:00. Spectators enjoyed thrilling volleyball action across four courts,” he said.

He noted there were no major surprises or upsets, with top-ranked teams winning all their matches and the bottom teams from both divisions losing theirs.

“So far, two teams from each gender remain unbeaten. On the men's side, Namibia Correctional Services is in first place, while Revival from Windhoek remains unbeaten in the women’s division, currently in second place,” Khevare said.

“Looking at the overall performances, it’s evident that the teams have improved significantly, making this season highly competitive.

“Next month’s finale and prize-giving ceremony will be massive, with all the excitement made possible by our sponsor, MTC.”
