Likius Nande
On this week’s episode of Athlete’s World, we are joined by Likius Nande who started playing golf in 2007 at the young age of 10 through the Rössmund junior golf development programme at Swakopmund, coached by Eddy Angula, who is a professional golf teacher.
Nande played his first national tournaments at Windhoek Golf and Country Club in 2011. He also represented Namibia at the World Junior Open in England.
In this episode, Nande shares his vision ::“In the pursuit of becoming someone through hard work and perseverance from talent, I want to go further and fulfil my dream of becoming a professional golfer and join the ranks of the greats like Joe Nawanga, Trevor Dodds and Tiger Woods. These are the players I looked up to.”
