The specialized building supply company Super Sand of Mariental has decided that Christmas time is the ideal opportunity to donate bricks for a new new cycling track at Palmpikkies in the southern town of Mariental. The company originally harvested sand from the Fish River since the 1970's and over time began manufacturing bricks, of which they produce up to 250 000 per day now.
