Rundu prepaid meter roll-out hits 1 000 mark

The first phase of Rundu’s prepaid water meter roll-out has already connected over 1 000 households, with installations currently ongoing in the Tutungeni area, according to the Rundu Town Council CEO Fransiska Kupembona.
The project officially commenced on 7 February and has so far seen N$6.9 million invested in its implementation.
Yesterday morning, the installation team reached the home of former education deputy minister Faustina Caley, who became the latest recipient of the prepaid system in Tutungeni.
