In an effort to address gender-based violence crimes, the Omusati Police are hosting a men’s conference tomorrow in Outapi.

The event, which is expected to kick off at 09:00, will take place under the theme ‘Be a Protector, Not an Abuser.’

It is taking place at the gender ministry conference hall. Omusati Police commander, Commissioner Ismael Basson and Omusati governor Erginus Endjala are scheduled to attend the event.

A number of speakers are lined up to shed light on ways men should behave in society and how crime can be avoided in households and in the community.

Members of the public are encouraged to attend.
