NamWater awards five bursaries

NamWater reaffirmed its commitment to youth empowerment through education by awarding bursaries to five outstanding students for the 2025 academic year.

The bursary selection process began earlier this year, closing on 28 March 2024. NamWater received 119 applications from students across various fields of study. After a thorough selection process, application reviews, interviews conducted in May and final approvals on 25 November, five recipients were chosen. They are Lesheni Haininga, Theodore Ndenge, Ottoh Nambundunga, Justina Iilonga and Stephanie Van Wyk.

NamWater allocated N$400 000. 00 for the bursaries, which will cover tuition fees, accommodation, meals, transport, books and stationery. However, the bursary does not include laptops or other electronic devices.
