Kennedy's bail verdict postponed

Yesterday, the Windhoek High Court postponed its ruling in former magistrate Jaco Kennedy's latest application for bail to 31 August. Kennedy and his cousin, Raymond Cloete, are on trial for, among other things, rape and kidnapping. They allegedly kidnapped and raped a woman on 3 January 2015. Kennedy appeared in the High Court's SADC courtroom before Judge Marlene Tommasi.
