JUST IN: City of Windhoek issues scam warning

The City of Windhoek has issued a warning regarding criminals pretending to be able to prevent services from being cut off if residents owe money to the municipality. According to the municipality, no external parties have been appointed to provide such a service. The City urged that all payments should be made at municipal offices and never on the street.
