Angolan boy (9) drowns in Omusati

A nine-year-old boy tragically drowned in a well on Sunday afternoon while swimming with other children near a field in Oningilamo village, Oshikuku constituency, in the Omusati Region.
According to Omusati police, the incident occurred around 17:00 when the deceased, identified as Titus Linus, was swimming with four other children after tending to goats in the area. The exact circumstances of his drowning remain unclear and an investigation is ongoing.
Linus, an Angolan national from Olutunda village in the neighbouring country, had been residing in Oningilamo village with his biological mother and sister, who work as domestic workers.
