Hindjou hopeful about Okahandja United's chances
Okahandja United Football Club chairman Congo Hindjou is confident his side will regroup after the break.
The team is currently lingering in the middle of the league table and he hopes to see some improvement soon.
"I wouldn't say we are in a dire situation right now, even if we have dropped some crucial points in our last matches. The break has come at the right time and I am sure this will help the players to regroup and focus on the main goal. We do have a talented team and I am sure that we will prove that," Hindjou said.
Okahandja United have so far played nine matches this season.
The club has won three of their matches, losing four and drawing two.
United's major concern has been their defensive record, having conceded 16 goals so far.
They have not been poor going forward, given that they have scored 10 in nine matches.
Hindjou's team currently has a goal difference of -6, which they will be eager to address when the league resumes.
"We can only improve that defensive aspect while sharpening our attacking. As a club, it is still early to press the panic button, but we are aware that we can do better," the chairman said.
"Okahandja United is a big club and will continue to give their best in the league."
