Validation workshop on NAIP
The agriculture, water and land reform ministry conducted a national validation workshop for the National Agricultural Investment Plan (NAIP) and its implementation action plan. The workshop consisted of representatives from various agriculture sectors to validate, authenticate and ensure that the final document contains all key priority activities that were proposed during rounds of consultations, both at the national and regional level. The NAIP is based on four key pillars: Production, productivity and agri-business; food and nutrition security and human capacity; sustainable resource management; an enabling environment and responsive institutions. The sector will implement the NAIP over the next six years, between the 2024–2025 and 2029–2030 financial years. Photo Contributed
