Man dies by suicide at Okongo

A 38-year-old man died by suicide at Okongo village in the Ohangwena Region on Sunday.

According to a police report, the incident took place at around 18:00. The man's body was found hanging in a tree.

“It is alleged that the deceased hanged himself with shoelaces around his neck, and died instantly,” the report read.

No suicide note was found and no foul play is suspected. Police investigations continue.
