JUST IN: Missing person
Forty-year-old Damion van Reen went missing in Gibeon on Saturday.
According to Damion's brother, Simon, he attended the funeral of Wilfred Eiseb, the boy who was murdered in Walvis Bay, on Saturday. Damion allegedly walked across the Fish River - behind the cemetery - after the funeral to visit a friend. It was between 12:00 and 13:00.
An aunt gave him water and sent him home as the friend was not at home. It is suspected that he walked in the wrong direction.
When he was last seen, Damion was wearing a grey T-shirt, grey trousers and black All-Star sneakers.
“Daimion is a little mentally challenged but he can understand you well when you talk to him. My number is 081 217 9995.”
