WELCOME: United States of America First Lady Jill Biden arrived in Namibia yesterday and laid a wreath at Heroes' Acre just outside Windhoek. She was accompanied by the First Lady of Namibia, Monica Geingos. Biden will visit Namibia and Kenya during this trip to strengthen the United States’ partnerships on the African continent, and advance shared priorities in the region. Her engagements will focus on the empowerment of women and youth, efforts to address food insecurity, and promoting shared democratic values.
