Unam eases registration fees
SHORT NEWS
The University of Namibia (Unam) on Monday announced that it has introduced more flexible payment options for students struggling with registration fees.
The minimum upfront payment is now N$1 500 instead of N$2 975.
Those who can’t afford this can register with a zero upfront payment under a payment plan, the university said.
The new payment system was implemented on 10 February.
Unam also emphasised that students who fail to honour their payment agreements risk deregistration at the end of the first semester.
