Priest arrested for drunk driving

At around 23:00 on Friday, a 46-year-old priest was arrested at Bunya the Kavango West region for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol.

According to the police report, the priest, a member of the Roman Catholic Church at Bunya, was apprehended after driving a white Toyota Corolla on a public road while under the influence of alcohol or a narcotic substance.

Police investigations continue.
