Tura Magic hammer V-Power Angels 4-0
Tura Magic Ladies on Saturday hammered V-Power Angels 4-0 in a top of the table clash of the Skorpion Zinc Women's Super League at the Namibia Football Association (NFA) Technical Centre in Windhoek.
The victory saw Tura Magic extend their unbeaten run to seven matches, pulling three points clear at the top of the log, with 19 points from the seven matches played.
They scored their goals through the boot of top scorer Anna Shikusho, who scored her 14th goal of the campaign, while Juliana Skrywer, Milicent Hikuam and player of the match Emma Naris added further goals for the Magicians.
In another match played at the University of Namibia's B Field, ninth-placed Unam Bokkies in different form continued with a 1-0 loss against Girls Football Academy, with Kahozu Christiaan scoring the only goal.
Her teammate Vijakura Tjingaete was voted player of the match.
In another match at the NFA Technical Centre, Galz & Goals Football Club were too good for the Namibia University of Science and Technology (Nust) Babes.
They annihilated Nust 7-0 with goals from Iyaloo Rooi and a hat-trick by Julia Rutjindo and Beverly Uueziua respectively. Galz & Goals player Amorei Swartbooi received the player of the match award.
The match between visiting coastal side, Namib Daughters and Omaheke Queens saw eight goals scored. The match ended 5-3 in favour of Namib Daughters.
The coastal team scored through player of the match, Moriza Gawanas and Ignacia Haoses with two goals each, while Kylie van Wyk added another one, while Omaheke Queens scored through Ndjavera Tjimunene, Winnie Kamuhenline and Tjekupi Hengari.
