Top lawyer Namandje to share his success story

Prominent lawyer Sisa Namandje will be the next guest on MTC’s inspirational Masters of Success talk show on July 29 at the National Theatre of Namibia (NTN.) Namandje will be the sixth guest but the second Namibian personality to be featured at the show that is fast becoming a popular event. Last week, the show was graced by First Lady Monica Geingos. “We are very excited to welcome our second Namibian guest on the programme and we look forward to another great show,” said Tim Ekandjo, Chief Human Capital and Corporate Affairs Officer at MTC. Sisa Namandje was born at Onyaanya in the Oshikoto Region on December 15, 1972 and is the first born of 12 siblings. He is married and a proud dad to a daughter and son. Namandje will share his life story including having to walk 15 km to and from school every day as well as his childhood memories of looking after his family’s livestock. Namandje has earned himself a reputation as one of the top lawyers in the country. Namandje is a shareholder and director of both Stimulus Ltd and Stimulus Private Equity. He serves on the Board of Directors of Cymot Holdings and Nashua. Namandje is also a director and interest holder in Lemon Square Fishing and Alumni Fishing. He has further business interests in the entertainment and hospitality industry. Namandje was appointed as Acting Judge of the High Court of Namibia between from October 13 until November 28, 2008 – becoming the first legal practitioner to be appointed as an acting judge just five years after admission to practice law. He was again appointed as an acting judge of the High Court of Namibia between September and November 2010. Namandje is the founder of the Law Firm, Namandje & Co which was established in 2003 when he was just a young law graduate from the University of Namibia.
