Top gymnasts in action in Walvis Bay

The two-day artistic gymnastics national championship, hosted by the Namibia Gymnastics Federation, was held at Walvis Bay over the weekend.
A total 45 boys and 130 girls competed. They represented clubs from Walvis Bay, Swakopmund, Tsumeb, Otjiwarongo, Keetmanshoop, the Crete Gymnastics Club and Simonfi Gymnastics Academy.
The results were as follows:
Men's artistic gymnastics, overall winners:

The next competitions will be the trampoline and tumbling championships on 18 and 19 October, the rhythmic gymnastics championships on 25 and 26 October and the aerobics competition on 1 and 2 November.
The first two competitions will take place at the Jan Wilken Stadium in Walvis Bay, while the third competition will take place in Windhoek.
