Government Institutions Pension Fund (GIPF) general manager for marketing and stakeholder engagement Edwin Tjiramba is set to be announced as new chairperson of the New Era Publication Corporation (NEPC) board of directors.

He replaces Esau Mbako, who led the NEPC board for the past three years. No one from the outgoing board was retained on the new board, officials in the ministry of ICT said.

Joining Tjiramba, appointed for his media and communication background, on the new board are Helena Amutenya (with legal background), Selma Ambunda (human resources) and Dr John Sifani, who commands experience in business management.

The fifth member of the board could not be confirmed at the time of going to print.
