Tonight, the NamPower Convention Centre in Windhoek will see six fights, headlined by Flaime ‘Special One’ Nangolo going up against Abraham Ndaendapo in a 10-round junior lightweight national fight.
Nangolo has seven fights, all of them wins, whereas his opponent Ndaendapo has a record of 17 fights, 10 wins and seven losses.
At yesterday’s weigh-in, young Nangolo promised to put on a great show against the more experienced Ndaendapo.
Another fight that will be appetising to watch is the welterweight title fight between Alfeus ‘Mosquito’ Shaanika and Hedison Nghipondoka.
Shaanika is confident, warning his opponent that he will knock him down so hard that he kisses the canvas. He further added that Nghipondoka is not a boxer, but a bodybuilder.
Harry Simon Junior is also scheduled to feature, against Steven Shimonde in a six-round welterweight fight.
Simon is so far unbeaten in 14 fights, whereas his opponent has 14 fights, 7 wins and 7 losses.
Other fights on the night will see Ruan Raspel (one unbeaten fight) against Shikukuto Jonas, who will be making his professional debut in the lightweight class.
Another lightweight first will be between Usko Rehabeam (total eight fights, five wins, two losses and one draw) and Dominikus Weyulu (15 fights, two wins, 12 losses and one draw).
Hafeni Ngesheya (one undefeated fight) will go up against Simon Ndayambekwa (10 fights, three wins, seven losses).
