South African head of state visiting
President Jacob Zuma of South Africa arrived at the Hosea Kutako International Airport last night for a one-day visit to Namibia. He and his Namibian counterpart, President Hifikepunye Pohamba, will now establish a bi-national commission. South Africa's international relations spokesperson Clayson Monyela says Namibia as the neighboring country is important because 66% of its exports are destined for South Africa. Also South Africa owns about 80% of investments in key sectors such as mining, retail, banking and insurance in Namibia.
