Namibian forward Peter Shalulile scored for Highlands Park on Wednesday to end a match 2-2 against Bidvest Wits.

He converted a penalty in the 86th minute, after going down from Tulani Hlatshwayo's challenge, with his teammate Mothobi Mvala having scored in the 27th minute.

His performance earned him the Man of the Match accolade and put in him the second spot for the Golden Boot chase as he now has 12 goals. Leading the chart is Orlando Pirates' Gabadinho Mahango with 14 goals.

Bidvest Wits' goals were scored by Haashim Domingo before half-time and Hlatshwayo in the 50th minute. Highlands Park is now seventh on the log with a total of 30 points.

Shalulile thanked his teammates, coaches and God for supporting him. “This is for Him as well as the fans for coming in numbers to support us,” he said.

Highlands Park will cross paths with log leaders Kaizer Chiefs tomorrow.
