Sakaria to watch his opponent fight
There seems to be hope that ever-ready Sakaria 'Desert Storm' Lukas will make his American debut this year, but first he has to watch his opponent fight.

Namibia's unbeaten World Boxing Organisation (WBO) Africa featherweight boxer Sakaria 'Desert Storm' Lukas will fight in August, it was announced by his co-manager Global Boxing Stars Scott Patrick Farrell on his Facebook page.
Tonight's show
The Namibian will face American Jessie Magdaleno in a world title eliminator which was initially booked for March. However, before they can step in the ring, he has to first watch his opponent Magdaleno face Dominican Republic's bantamweight contender Yenifel Vicent fight tonight.
The fight is a 10-rounder in the main event on ESPN at the MGM Grand Conference Center Grand Ballroom in Las Vegas, Nevada, and will be broadcast live according to African Connection Boxing managing director and trainer Immanuel Moses.
'They were supposed to fight at Madison Square Garden back in March, but it was cancelled due to Covid-19. However, Lukas will be in Las Vegas in July ready to fight in August,' said Farrell.
Moses also confirmed that the fight is scheduled for August but that the fight solely hangs on airports being open and availability of fights.
Replacing boxers
Moses further said that with the changes due to the pandemic, sanctioning bodies cannot organise title fights with boxers outside the country but with those available.
Number of fights
The Namibian has a record of 23 fights, with 16 knockouts. Lukas has fought twice in 2019 and three times in 2017. A victory for Lukas in American would in a way avenge high profile defeats of his four compatriots - Walter Kautondokwa, Julius 'Blue Machine' Indongo, Paulus 'Hitman' Moses, Paul 'El Jesus' Ambunda on American soil.
The 28-year old Magdaleno has a record of 27 fights, 18 knockouts and one loss.
He has fought twice in 2019, once in 2018, and once in 2017.
