On the 13 September, the Silver Spoon Hospitality Academy held its graduation ceremony.

On the 13 September the Silver Spoon Academy held a graduation ceremony which recognised it's students who received diplomas and certificates in food and beverage service and culinary arts which the parents of the recipients were overjoyed. Kyle Farrer, who has been at silver spoon for three years, participated in an internal competition with five others and now has the opportunity to represent Namibia at the Young Chef Olympiad . “I am really nervous because it is a big responsibility, but there is as a sense of honour; I truly believe Namibia is busy making a statement as Martin Shipanga was sent off last year and came 15th out of 45 countries,” he said. Another student, Sharon Matatias, said she is happy th. “It was a bumpy ride; it made me stronger and there is new chapter ahead of me, which I am ready to embark on,” she said.
