Price monster stabilises at 2.1%
Annual overall inflation in Namibia in June was 2.1%, the same as the previous month, but lower than the 3.9% recorded in June 2019.
Data released by the Namibia Statistics Agency (NSA) this morning shows annual overall food inflation at 4.9%, compared to 4.8% in May and 4.2% a year ago.
Annual overall transport spent its third consecutive month in deflation. June’s figure was -0.8%, compared to -0.1% registered both in May and April.
