Naturale - for that glow
tjil talks to Naturale founder on the latest skincare and beauty product locally produced.
If you are an avid fan of Paul Da Prince or Maria Nepembe, you may have noticed a different type of glow and fresh look on them recently. This is all thanks to the hit body product Naturale. Naturale is a Namibian owned organic skincare line that sells a blend of sweet almond and coconut oil for hair and skin treatment for a clean, clear and moisturised skin. It was founded by Giulianna Sheehama.
The products are 100% organic, suitable for all skin types and ages and can be used both on the face and body. The Naturale brand was birthed by the lack of locally produced skincare products and the founder took the opportunity. It is under the umbrella company La Perla and was launched in 2016 with products including a body and facial scrub, toner, and oil. Today Sheehama and her team have added hair products, including shampoo, to their list.
“There are people that want a clear skin without buying all these commercial products. The idea was to create something that is organic and chemical free for the general Namibian population that do not want to bleach their skin. That was the whole idea and the rest is history,” said Sheehama.
The products are delivered around Namibia with a set of instructions on how they are used. The products are produced daily and are delivered to clients. To date, they have approximately sold over 10 000 products. Sheehama says the plan is to have full body range products.
“The oil takes up to three weeks to mature and it is also used to make the scrub. It is really good for moisturising the skin. We also courier and we have clients as far as Zambia,” said Sheehama.
The toner is great for people who have severe acne and dark spots while the oil is to give off that natural glow and shine. Sheehama says due to the fact that the products are organic, they do not plan on going into shop shelves anytime soon. The products are all available for ordering on social media @ naturale_pcgm or on +26481 892 2129 or +26481 266 2370.
