NAMPOWER BURSARIES: NamPower has awarded bursaries to 20 students in various fields ranging from accounting to law and engineering. They were selected from 626 bursary applications. “Their dedication and devotion during the 2013 final school year is what earned them the good results that they obtained in order to be able to compete for the NamPower bursaries against their equally deserving peers,” said NamPower spokesman Isak Tjombonde. The bursaries will cover all their costs, from registration fees to transport, books, pocket money, daily meals, accommodation and even medical aid for those studying outside Namibia.
