Namibia thrashed by South Africa

The South African 3x3 national wheelchair basketball team thrashed Namibia 21-01 in their second match of the 2022 Africa Commonwealth Games qualifiers in Johannesburg, South Africa, on Saturday.
Namibia, Gambia, Kenya, Rwanda and host South Africa are competing in the Africa Zone’s qualification tournament for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
The women’s category only has host South Africa and Kenya competing at the one-day championships that is being held at the Vodacom Mandeville Indoor Sports Centre in Johannesburg.
The winner of the championships in both categories will represent the zone in July next year in Birmingham, United Kingdom.
In the match against South Africa, the Namibian team found the going tough from the start of the match. Namibia allowed seven goals in just three minutes of the opening of the match as their opponent forced them into unwanted errors.
Namibia only managed to score a single goal from a penalty with just four minutes left into the match through Roodly Gowaseb.
Despite all the attempts to find a basket from open play, their opponents were too physical and skilful for them.
