AC Promotions founder Immanuel ‘Imms’ Moses campaign to create global stars this year has begun as the flashy promoter aims for top rankings and sponsorships.

Moses, who serves as promoter and trainer, expects a busy 2022 as he prepares his trusted boxers to rumble for glory and top honours.

“I must say that this will be the busiest year of all because I want to make sure that at least two or three of our rising stars enter in the top-15 rankings.

“We also expect some of our senior guys like Desert Storm Lukas, Julius Indongo and Beast Master Meroro to be back in action.

“The boxers AC have been in demand worldwide and this will definitely make lucrative fights possible,” Moses said.

Youthful power

Moses expressed confidence in some of his young boxers, who he feels are able to gain international recognition this year.

The promoter pins his hopes on potential superstars which include recently crowned national champion Flaim ‘Special One’ Nangolo and Harry Simon Jr.

He also believes there is place in the top-15 rankings for boxers like Alfeus 'Mosquito' Shaanika, Ruaan Rispel and Hafeni Ngesheya.

Nangolo is only 19, while Simon Jr is 23 years old, Rispel 20, Shaanika 23, and Ngesheya 23.

“All these guys are very young and can actually become top stars in the near future.

“It is indeed a team I have confidence in and a team I know will produce a continental champion very soon,” Moses said.

Sponsors needed

AC Promotions is one of the few top stables that have been operating without a sponsor.

Moses is optimistic that things will be different this year and the stable will secure a big sponsorship which will enable them to speed up the process of getting the young stars to glory.

“I think we have proven that we are capable of pulling off fights even with the minimum support we get.

“We have a very young team and this should serve as motivation for sponsors to come on board and help us make them realise their dreams.

“I am therefore pleading with the business community to come on board and make AC’s boxers’ dreams a reality.”

Moses added that they will make some important announcements next week.
