Missing person

The police at Tsumeb in the Oshikoto Region are requesting the help of the public in tracing a 55-year-old man only known by local residents as Nelomba. Nelomba (in the picture) is said to have gone missing from the Dark Compound at Nomtsoub location. He was last seen on January 14 wearing blue jeans and a blue jacket. According to Chief Inspector Stephen Nuuyi, Nelomba is mentally ill and was a regular visitor to the dumpsite in search of food. He has no known relatives in Tsumeb. Local residents approached the police after failing to spot Nelomba, fearing that something bad had happened to him. Nuuyi said local residents searched the surrounding area but could not find him.
