Men on the Side of the Road move to larger premises

Non-profit organisation Men on the Side of the Road (MSR) recently moved from Claudius Kandovazu Street in Katutura to larger premises in Khomasdal’s Hans-Dietrich Genscher Street.
The organisation issued a statement informing the public of the development, which comes after nine years of its involvement in promoting employment among disadvantaged communities.
The new premises are situated near the Coca-Cola depot in the same street.
“MSR remains committed to restore its members’ pride and dignity by treating them with respect and providing services to them,” the organisation said.
The organisation’s work involves training members in skills such as forklifting, thatching, welding, plumbing, carpentry, brick-laying, computer literacy, general electricity, automotive mechanic, and truck driving.
This is followed by an internship programme, where the members are expected to put their acquired theoretical knowledge into practice.
