Matter of fact

In yesterday’s edition, our lead story titled ‘Dubai trip haunts investment board’ erroneously referred to Helena Tunga Mboti (in the photo) as one of the Namibia Investment Promotion Development Board (NIPDB) managers who travelled to Dubai and attended a virtual meeting from their hotel. In fact, the official who undertook that trip is Tunga Mboti, and not Helena Tunga Mboti. We would like to state that Helena Tunga Mboti does not work for NIPDB and was not part of the group that travelled to Dubai. We thus unreservedly apologise to Helena Tunga Mboti for any harm caused to her name, and we regret the error.
