Brave Gladiators player Annushka Kordom, who plies her trade for Corban Warriors in the USA, shares her top picks.

Goalkeeper

Christiane Endler (PSG, Chile)

“If you watched the 2019 Fifa Women's World Cup, there is no way you could've missed how amazing she is.”

Kordom added Endler is a motivational and vocal goalkeeper.

Defenders

Right-back: Lucy Bronze (Lyon, England)

“She is a magnificent defender, offensive minded and technical with great vision,” Kordom said, adding that Bronze is “an amazing crosser” and a “true fighter”.

Right centre-back: Griedge Mbock Mbathi (Lyon, France)

“She rose to prominence in the Women's World Cup. She's powerful, aggressive and attack-minded.

“She's a powerhouse in the air too. Although such a good player, she remains humble,” Kordom said.

Left centre-back: Emma Naris (Tura Magic, Namibia)

'I grew up with Emma. She always left me in awe. She's one of my biggest inspirations.

“Not once has she shied away from a challenge. She's technically gifted, tactically disciplined and good in the air.

Left-back: Crystal Dunn (North Carolina Courage, USA)

“She's versatile and hardworking. No one fights as hard as her,” Kordom said.

According to her, Dunn is a mentally and physically strong defender “who loves joining the attack as much as she enjoys defending”.

Midfielders

Defensive midfielder: Julie Ertz (Chicago Red Stars, USA)

“A natural leader, she's the heart of any team she plays in.”

Attacking midfielder: Rose Lavelle (Washington Spirit, USA)

“She's is the most skilful, technically gifted player in the game. Watching her is like watching a magician put on a show,” she said, describing Lavelle as a “true quadradista”.

Kordom said she'd pick herself in the other attacking midfield position because of her work ethic, love for a challenge and ability to connect with whoever she plays with.

Forwards

Left forward: Zenatha Coleman (Valencia, Namibia)

“We all know what Coleman brings to the game. She's a very talented player who never stops working.”

Centre forward: Samantha Kerr (Chelsea, Australia)

Describing Kerr as a “leader from the front”, Kordom picked her for her “game IQ and great runs”.

Right forward: Christen Press (Utah Royals, USA)

“One of the most underrated players in the world.

She has a certain flair. She creates goal scoring chance every time she has the ball.”

Formation

Kordom said she would use a 4-3-3 formation for her fantasy squad, which would be captained by Ertz.

The head coach would be former Brave Gladiators coach, Jacquiline Shipanga.

“I've seen and played for many, but she brings out the best in players.”
