Kavango West tourney this weekend

The Kavango West Rural Federation Football Cup will take place from 8 to 10 December at the Siurungu sports field.
The tournament is sponsored by Kassie Lines Printing to the value of N$15 000.
“Rural soccer federation teams are disadvantaged and are always competing with teams in the first and second divisions.
“So with that in mind, we decided to host a tournament only from rural soccer federation teams only,” said Kassie Lines Printing CEO John Muhuli. Muhuli said the tournament will help develop rural federation players, hence sports gear forms part of the winnings.
“The players will equip themselves with training gear, which will also make training easier for the coaches and the cup will serve as a feeder tournament to the first and second division leagues in the area,” Muhuli added.
The winning team will walk away with N$1 800, a floating trophy, 20 medals and a soccer net. The second price is N$1 400, 20 silver medals, and a soccer ball, while the third-placed team will receive N$1 000, 20 bronze medals and a soccer ball and the team finishing fourth will receive N$750 and a soccer ball. The most disciplined team will walk away with soccer balls and cones.
The top goal scorer will receive a small trophy and the best goalkeeper will get gloves.
Registration is N$200 per team.
