Six Namibians travelled to Cape Town, South Africa, and represented the country at the Abu Dhabi Africa Continental Pro Ju-Jitsu Championship recently.

The Abu Dhabi Continental Ju-Jitsu Championship is part of the Abu Dhabi Ju-Jitsu Pro World Ranking and the Abu Dhabi World Professional Qualifying series.

Delano Müller delivered another stellar performance at the tournament and was invited to the Abu Dhabi championships in April before the ju-jitsu championships in December. He remains undefeated, with five wins by submission and one by a point lead. Müller was able to wring a submission from Nabeel Varachia in 62 seconds.

At the same event, Giano Alcock from Walvis Bay clinched gold, Stefan Zerbe and Yusuf Abader both brought home silver medals, while Raymundo Bowe earned a bronze medal.

The group held their own against athletes from hosts South Africa, France, Brazil, Switzerland and the UK. - Erongo
