Namibian boxer Max Ipinge promises fireworks on 4 December in Walvis Bay, his home town, when he crosses swords with Zimbabwe’s Tinashe Zihove in the fifth edition of the Together As One boxing bonanza, organised by MTC Nestor Sunshine Tobias Boxing and Fitness Academy.

The two will trade leather for the super middleweight international title, which will be a six-rounder. The 25-year-old Ipinge last fought in April and is looking to entertain his home crowd.

“I will be fighting in my home town for the first time as a professional boxer, so I promise to put up an awesome fight. If I get the opportunity, I’m going for a knockout,” he said.
