Ees cries foul The Channel O Africa Music Video Awards has left a bitter taste in the mouth of local Kwaito star Ees. He was nominated in the Most Gifted Kwaito Artist category against artists like L’vovo Derrango, Professor, Kabelo and Dj Tira. Anyway, Ees lost to South Africa’s Professor and later said that he is not happy at all. The singer said that he has campaigned extensively. “No one has campaigned like I did, so this comes at as shock,” he reportedly said. He continued by saying that he wants to find out what happened. We love Ees, we really do, but he is certainly not the first person to lose out on an award. Campaigning doesn’t ensure a win. In fact, if a song is amazing, then not much campaigning is needed. People will automatically support it. Lady May back to her old ways We just can’t keep up with our darling girl Lady May. After her infamous ‘goodnight’ greeting at the 2011 NAMAs, she appeared to turn over a new leaf by becoming a good girl. However, it appears she is now tired of the good girl act and is now back to her bad girl ways. Just recently pssst! reported on her raunchy performance in what looked like lingerie at a boxing match at Oshikango. Now pssst! hears she again decided to strip to her underwear while performing at a fashion show over the weekend. Guests at the event included senior government officials. We think it’s time Lady May becomes consistent. You can’t be a good girl today and a bad girl tomorrow, my sister. Either way, we will love you just the way you choose to be. Mulongeni gets a new title pssst! was hanging around local artists the other day, minding her own business, when she heard industry insiders talk about our beloved Dr Ben Mulongeni. Mulongeni owns the record label Great Wings Promotions. The insiders, who were giggling and cracking jokes, referred to Uncle Ben as Ben Dumped Mulongeni. Apparently this was in reference to his reputation for pushing artists to the top and then being left out in the cold. Mulongeni in the past worked with a relatively unpopular Tequila and transformed her into a household name. She even won Best Female Artist of the Year at the 2012 NAMAs. Ben then took an unknown Blossom onboard and helped her grab the title from Tequila at this year’s NAMAs. Tequila had of course in the meantime left the mentor for greener pastures. Now Blossom has also left the elderly uncle. We do feel sorry for Mulongeni, but he must be getting used to being dumped. Isabella back in the spotlight Shishani’s open letter about event organisers not paying or appreciating local artists has ignited a lot of debate. Anyway, in the letter Shishani didn’t mince her words when it came to Woman of Substance organiser Isabella //Hauses. “I’ve been waiting for payment for the Woman of Substance (event) since April 2012. I don’t see how you are supporting this woman of substance,” Shishani wrote. pssst! now hears Shishani isn’t the only artist that is still waiting for payment since last year. It seems that Isabella apparently also hasn’t paid singer Erna Chimu for performing at the same event. Please Isabella, be a woman of substance and pay the people, if you really still owe them. Terrence Howard weds again 'Butler' star Terrence Howard tied the knot for a fourth time recently to his latest flame, a Canadian woman known only as Miranda, and a source close to the actor admitted it was ''not out of character'' for him to do such a thing. They told RadarOnline: ''It's another one of his outlandish moves he only knew and/or dated her for about a month!'' His ex-wife Michelle Ghent was granted a temporary restraining order against him in September, after claiming he beat her during an argument in Costa Rica, and insiders have claimed he called her up to tell her about his latest nuptials. A source alleges: ''Terrence called up Michelle to tell her about the marriage and taunt her about it. She needs to cut him off for good.'' While Terrence, 44, has only been dating Miranda for a month, in that time he has introduced her to his friends and family and taken her to red carpet events including 'The Best Man Holiday' movie premiere in Los Angeles, California on November 5. The pair were both wearing wedding rings at the event.
